Barristers provide specialist services as advocates, mediators and advisors. They take an oath as 'Officers of the Court'. Barristers are sole practitioners however like minded Barristers have traditionally gathered together near Courts to share their experience and some facilities. In our case we have a complementary mix of skills, experience and areas of practice covering much of the legal spectrum. The tradition of the Inns is long and colourful. To brief a barrister you normally see a solicitor first. Briefs are accepted by some Inns members from statutory bodies and agencies or governments themselves.
